Dilorom Saidaminova est une compositrice ouzbek, née à Tachkent le 27 février 1943, maintenant résidant en Russie et en Ouzbékistan, qui a composé des œuvres pour la plupart orchestrales, de chambre et pour piano, et qui ont été jouées en Asie, en Europe et en Amérique du Nord.
Mme Saidaminova a d'abord étudié la composition avec Boris I. Zeidman et le piano avec Abraham M. Litvinov au lycée universitaire Uspensky de Tachkent de 1950 à 1961. Elle a ensuite étudié la composition avec Boris I. Zeidman et le piano avec Abraham M. Litvinov au Conservatoire d'État d'Ouzbékistan à Tachkent, où elle a obtenu son diplôme avec son MMus en piano en 1966, MMus en composition en 1967 et DMA en composition en 1971. Plus tard elle a fait des études de troisième cycle avec Yuri Fortunatov au Conservatoire d'État P.I. Tchaïkovski de Moscou en 1981, où elle a également eu quelques leçons avec Edison Denisov.
Parmi ses distinctions figurent le prix spécial de la jeune compositrice la plus remarquable (Tachkent, 1977, pour Symphonic Poem), le deuxième prix d'un concours parrainé par l'État à Tachkent (1982, pour sa chanson populaire Ouzbékistan), le deuxième prix d'un concours de chansons à Tachkent (1983, pour une chanson pour enfants), premier prix d'un concours parrainé par l'État à Tachkent (1983, pour l' ouverture de fêtes), le prix des contributions exceptionnelles à la culture et à la musique (Tachkent, 1991), Zweiter Preis au concours GEDOK à Mannheim (1998, pour By the Sound of Francesca), et une subvention de l'Open Society Institute / Soros Foundation à Tachkent (2002). Sa musique a été jouée en Arménie, Azerbaïdjan, Biélorussie, Bulgarie, Allemagne, Hongrie, Lettonie, Lituanie, Luxembourg, Moldavie, Pologne, Roumanie, Russie, Royaume-Uni, États-Unis et Ouzbékistan, y compris des concerts personnels à Tachkent en 1992, 1998 , 2000 et 2002.
Elle est également active dans d'autres postes. Elle a travaillé comme rédactrice générale musicale de la société de télévision d'État ouzbek à Tachkent de 1985 à 1988.
Elle a enseigné comme professeur de composition, d’histoire de la musique et de piano au Conservatoire d’État d’Ouzbékistan de 1967 à 1985 et de nouveau de 1988 à 1995.
