Edouard Silas (22 août 1827 - 8 février 1909), né à Amsterdam et mort à Londres, était un compositeur et organiste hollandais.
Son premier professeur fut Neher, membre de l'orchestre de Mannheim. Il a étudié à Paris en 1847 avec Friedrich Kalkbrenner, François Benoist et Jacques Fromental Halévy, et obtient le premier prix en 1849. Il a vécu à Londres à partir de 1850. Silas était organiste à la chapelle catholique de Kingston upon Thames et professeur d'harmonie à la Guildhall School of Music.
Il était compositeur de symphonies, de concertos pour piano, de quatuors à cordes et d'œuvres d'orgue. Il composa une messe à quatre voix et un orgue pour lequel il remporta un concours belge de musique sacrée en 1866 et composa également d'autres musiques sacrées dont l'oratorio Joash (1863).
